AGM Thermal Monocular

AGM Thermal Monocular

Using the latest infrared imaging technology, AGM Global’s thermal monocular devices detect even the most subtle temperature differences of natural and manmade objects in near-total darkness and in harsh weather conditions. Other features of our thermal monoculars include:

  • Photographic and video recording capabilities of digital cameras
  • Innovative lens materials and ergonomic design
  • Compatible with iOS and Android devices

AGM thermal monocularThe principle behind the development of our thermal monoculars is based on the idea that anything with a temperature above absolute zero will emit infrared light. Thermography, or thermal photography, is possible because the amount of radiation that an object emits either increases or decreases with spikes or drops in that object’s temperature. In our efforts to use the latest thermal monocular technologies, AGM Global Vision always strives to stay on top of the latest developments.

The main advantage of thermal imaging over night vision is that it is not dependent on independent sources of bright light for operating. Thermal imaging uses infrared radiation (heat) to create images that show temperature differences in a scene. A person can see in complete darkness, through smoke, and in low-contrast, low-visibility conditions.

Our line of thermal monoculars include a wide variety of mission-proven, military-grade products, including:

  • Compact, rugged construction
  • Multiple color palettes
  • External power supply
  • Bright light cut-off systems
