The RIX LEAP series of thermal weapon sights offers robust construction and affordability without compromising on features. Setting it apart is the innovative zoom adjustment, allowing for magnification directly on the display through a tactile ring on the scope body. Unlike typical digital zoom, LEAP maintains clarity and delivers a lifelike magnification effect.
This unique capability is achieved through floating lenses, allowing for optical adjustment of the eyepiece focal length, ensuring quick adaptation to hunting conditions. The zoom ring includes a built-in throw lever for easy adjustments, even with gloves or in low light.
Featuring a high-resolution 1920×1080 OLED display and a choice of 384 x 216 or 640 x 360 thermal detectors, the LEAP series delivers exceptional image quality. Operation is intuitive with three rotating turrets, large buttons, and a user-friendly menu structure, complemented by a tactile focus ring for precise image adjustment.
Powered by non-proprietary lithium-ion 18650 batteries, the LEAP series offers extended operating times, with a single battery lasting up to eight hours. Additional features include onboard recording with sound, Wi-Fi connectivity, IP67 water ingress protection, external power compatibility, recoil-activated video, picture-in-picture mode, various reticle options, and mobile apps for iOS and Android.
The LEAP is Backed by a five-year transferable warranty and expedited repair or replacement within ten working days upon receipt by RIX.
